Another exciting episode of Cheese at SO/, coming 11th September with an exotic edition featuring the finest produce from South Africa. Join us for two hours of unlimited wine and cheese, including 30+ varieties of artisan Fromage from around the world. These distinctive delicacies will be presented alongside live music by R&B band MODE featuring Bessie D., a soulful vocalist from New York


This month, cheese lovers will be able to experience the original flavour of Kwaito, a gouda-style South African cheese. Made from cow’s milk and famous for its creamy texture and mild taste, this is a treat for Fromage aficionados. To complete the African experience, indulge in a SO special signature drink: Mainstay. This local sugarcane spir-it, which originates in KwaZulu-Natal, is regarded as the national spirit of South Africa. Distilled five times for complete purity, it is considered to be a cross between white rum and vodka. Also this month, our sommelier will showcase a new collection of organic Italian wines from PREGO. Guests can sample PREGO Montepulciano D’Abruzzo DOC, a medium-bodied red which is perfectly paired with aged cheeses. Alternatively, PREGO Pecorino IGT is a full and complex dry white, which is wonderful when accompanied by fresh cheeses.

Enjoy two full hours of free-flow wine tipples with 30 types of cheese nibbles in the best cheese night in Bangkok, ranging from Comte to Brillat-Savarin and Raclette alongside artisan breads, cold cuts, charcuterie, trimmings, plus live DJ.


Calling all cheese lovers for our monthly special Cheese@SO. Offering cheese selections by Chef Thomas Smith. Chef Smith’s well-selected wine and cheese buffet. Offering accompaniments of charcuterie, fresh breads, crackers, dips, and an array of dried and fresh fruit. Not to be missed are the freshly-baked pretzel rolls and flavorsome sun-dried tomatoes. Also served up are pizzas and roasted and boiled potatoes ready to be drenched with melted Raclette cheese.


SO/ Bangkok is a breeze to get to. Once inside MIXO Bar’s airy and spacious lounge with high ceilings and unending windows for taking in those park-and-skyline views, the ambiance is perfect for High Tea, casual afternoon conversation or lounging and mingling over seductive cocktails when nighttime brings out the DJ’s chill vibes and Bangkok’s dazzling skyline lights up.
